“instrument” is an interactive robot sound installation. The industrial robot is tuned like a musical instrument so that it can produce music through its movements.

The viewer can use the buttons on the interface to select pieces of music, which the robot then plays.

The sounds are the noises produced by the motors, joints and gears during the manufacturing process.
